1. The supply of MICROCHIP is unstable
According to customer feedback, MICROCHIP's orders are the most unstable. Currently, the product delivery time has been extended to 52 weeks, and customers are not allowed to cancel orders, and can only be forced to accept the original factory's extended delivery time. In addition, orders for MICROCHIP's ATSAME54 series products have been in an unstable state since July 2022. MICROCHIP claims that the orders will be completed and arrive in December of this year, but the delivery date of the product has been extended to 102 weeks, and customers are concerned about whether the supply can fully meet the demand at that time.


2. NVIDIA Expands Non TSMC Supply Chain

According to reports, NVIDIA is actively building a non TSMC CoWoS supply chain. It has been reported that Liandian has recently doubled its silicon intermediate layer production capacity, and its monthly production capacity will increase from the current 3 kwpm to 10 kwpm. Next year, the production capacity is expected to be on par with TSMC, significantly alleviating the pressure of oversupply in the CoWoS process. Nvidia stated that it has developed and certified production capacity from other suppliers in key processes such as CoWoS packaging.
